Day 1 – Welcome to Rome
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be personally greeted by an English-speaking assistant and escorted to your private driver for a seamless transfer to your hotel. Your assistant will accompany you during the transfer, assist with hotel check-in, review your Welcome Package, and remain available to answer any questions about your journey and time in Italy.
The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. Begin discovering Rome, a city layered with thousands of years of history, art, and daily life. Wander through grand piazzas and hidden streets, where ancient monuments stand alongside lively cafés and boutiques. Consider visiting the iconic Spanish Steps, a celebrated meeting point offering beautiful views over the city and a glimpse into Rome’s timeless rhythm.

Day 2 – Ancient Rome & Roman Flavors
Step into the heart of the Roman Empire with your private guide. Explore the Colosseum, once the stage for gladiatorial games and imperial spectacle, as your guide reveals how these events shaped Roman society and politics. Continue through the Roman Forum, where temples, basilicas, and triumphal arches tell the story of daily life in ancient Rome.
Later, make your way independently to the charming Trastevere neighborhood for a private, hands-on cooking class. Guided by a local chef, learn the art of fresh pasta making—transforming simple ingredients into dishes rooted in tradition and family culture. After the class, enjoy a relaxed dinner featuring the meal you prepared, paired with wine and dessert.

Your visit culminates in the Sistine Chapel, where Michelangelo’s ceiling remains one of the greatest artistic achievements in history.
Please note: Vatican tickets open 60 days in advance. From January through April 2026, Michelangelo’s “Last Judgment” will be temporarily covered for restoration; the Sistine Chapel remains open to visitors.
For dinner, consider a reservation at Osteria da Memmo, a beloved Roman restaurant known for its warm atmosphere and refined traditional cuisine. Your Destination Expert will be happy to assist with reservations.

Meet your private driver for a transfer to the train station and board a high-speed train to Florence (approximately 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, your driver will escort you to your hotel.
This evening , enjoy Florence at your own pace. Consider a leisurely stroll along the Arno River or an aperitivo with panoramic views over the city. The golden light, historic bridges, and soft evening atmosphere create a perfect introduction to Renaissance Florence.

Day 5 – Florence: The Renaissance Unveiled
With your private guide, explore Florence’s historic center, a living masterpiece of art and architecture. Visit the Cathedral complex, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, and hidden gems tucked within medieval streets. At the Accademia Gallery, stand before Michelangelo’s David, an enduring symbol of Renaissance genius.
For dinner, we recommend Boccanegra, an intimate restaurant celebrated for seasonal ingredients, refined flavors, and an exceptional wine selection.

Meet your driver for a private train station transfer and depart for Venice by high-speed train (approximately 2 hours). Upon arrival, meet your assistant at the platform and proceed together to a private water taxi for your transfer through the canals to the hotel, with assistance through check-in.
Later, enjoy a small-group food and wine walk through the Rialto district. Visit traditional bacari (wine bars), sampling cicchetti paired with local wines while learning about Venetian food culture from a local expert.
